Tariq Hashim, board member of Al-Masry Al-Borseidi, said the negotiations to include Mahmoud Abdel Razek "Shikabala" in the ranks of Zamalek had failed.

"We withdrew from the negotiations with Zamalek because we did not reach an appropriate financial agreement," said an Egyptian board member in a statement broadcast on the radio.

"Despite our agreement with Shikbala, the Zamalek management has decided to allow this player to borrow for a year and a half.

Ihab Galal, the head of the Egyptian team, announced that he wanted to get Shikabala services on loan during the current Mercato winter.

Shikabala had a short professional experience with the Greek club Apollon from this season, after being loaned to Zamalek.

A member of Al-Masri revealed that his club had refused a major financial offer from Pyramids to buy Islam Issa, pointing out that the management of his club wanted to maintain the core strength of the team.

"Pyramids has made a fantastic £ 55 million offer, but we have refused to sell the player and we will keep it after the end of the season."

It is worth mentioning that Islam Issa joined the ranks of the Egyptian in January, coming from the ranks of victory in an agreement estimated at 10 million pounds.
