The balance of swine flu virus in the country has risen to nine, announced Saturday the Ministry of Health.
Health Minister Anas Dekali told the Moroccan official agency that the number of deaths from H1N1 flu has increased to nine.
"The epidemiological situation remains normal compared to previous years," he said, without providing figures.
He pointed out that the number of visitors to hospitals had increased relative to last week compared to last week, but there were no exceptional or special cases.
Last Thursday, the Ministry of Health had announced the registration of five deaths due to the swine flu virus before the announcement of the new balance sheet.
Last Monday, the kingdom announced its first death following the disease. From 2009 to 2010, the number of swine flu cases worldwide was widespread, causing thousands of deaths.
