Huawei has announced the development of a fold of smart phones, supporting fifth generation 5G networks. The new phone will be launched at the MWC 2019 World Congress in Barcelona, the company announced via its official Twitter account.
It is reported that we do not know yet on which markets the company will launch its foldable phone, knowing that the folding smart phone Huawei 5G will include a folding screen of 7.2 inches.
The phone is equipped with the company's HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor and a Balong 5000 modem to support fifth-generation networks.
Between 24 and 30,000 units of the 5G foldable smartphone will be manufactured to test the initial market response and the company will increase its production as demand increases.
Experts expect Samsung to launch its foldable smartphone at its next event on February 20, and will also launch its Galaxy S10 smartphone series at the event.
