Al-Nasr tried to get Croatian defender Domajoj Veda, player of the Turkish club Besiktas, to sign the Saudi transfer window.
According to the Turkish website Yenicaggazetesi, this victory offered a financial bid of 16 million euros for the signing of Veda, but the negotiations did not take place.
Due to the suspension of negotiations, Al-Nasr then announced the signing of Brazilian defender Maicon Pereira of Turkish club Galata Sarai for a season and a half.
Dumaguj Vida played for Croatia at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where Croatia finished second after losing to France 4-0.
The Roma wanted to sign Dumaguj Vida already, but the latter refused to leave Besiktas.
Al Hilal was already interested in signing Maicon Pereira, but Hilal's contract with Australian midfielder Milos Djennjek allowed Blue from the capital to lose sight of the Brazilian defender.
