Murtaji withdraws from Gabaliyya meeting

Khaled Murtaji, member of the board of Al-Ahly club and representative of the club at the meeting with the Federation of Football and Clubs, has withdrawn to protest the presence of President Zamalek during the meeting convened to discuss the conditions of the competition.

A member of Ahli's board objected to the presence of the president of Zamalek despite the previous announcement of decisions suspended by the African Union and the Egyptian Olympic Committee.

Murtaji's withdrawal from the Gabaliyya meeting, due to the lack of eligibility of the president of Zamalek to be present.

He refused to continue the meeting, especially since it would affect the legality of the meeting, on pain of suspension by the CAF against the president of Zamalek.

It should be noted that the Egyptian Football Federation, meeting all the clubs of the league, announced on Wednesday how to end the season under the pressure of matches and the large number of objections.
