Turki Al-Sheikh, owner of the Pyramids Club and chairman of the Arab Football Federation, has accepted the Football Federation's proposal to replace the league's Ahli match at the Egyptian Cup.
Al-Sheikh told Al-Luaib about MBC Egypt: "Ranking is difficult and circumstances are difficult now and what happened happened."
"We therefore do not agree to face Ahli in the second round of the league before Ahli does not meet Zamalek in the first round match."
"I respect all clubs, all those who have their hands in the water are not like those who have their hand in the fire and I agree with the proposal of the Football Association to play Al Ahly in Egypt Cup instead of league.
"This solution is the best for everyone and we will not change the schedule of Al Ahly games as well."
"The rejection of the proposal means a state of non-cooperation and an attempt to sabotage the league," he said.
