Dolores Aviero, the mother of Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo, said she was fighting for her life after a resurgence of breast cancer.
Abeiro spoke of his illness during an interview with a Portuguese TV channel just hours before heading to Italy to celebrate the birthday of his son Cristiano, who was discharged on April 5, at the age of 34 years old.
"I have undergone surgery at another breast in Madrid and I am undergoing radiation therapy, I am fighting for my life now," she said.
