Cardiff City player Emiliano Sala was apprehended after being exhumed from a plane at the bottom of the sea

The Cardiff City family, Emiliano Sala, was named after being found on the English Channel with the wreckage of the plane aboard a flight from France.

The Argentine, aged 28, was traveling in a small plane with pilot David Ibotson, but the plane disappeared over the sea on January 21st.

The city of Cardiff offered to transfer his body to Argentina.

The search teams did not find the Ebotsson pilot's body and the player's family expressed the hope that "the authorities are doing their best" to find the body.

"We are grateful for the expressions of empathy that we have expressed in our suffering," said the family statement, "the whole world has supported us in the research process, which has been a valuable support for we and we thank everyone for this attitude.

"We express our sympathy for the David Ebotsson family and hope that the authorities will do everything in their power to find his body," the statement said.

Romina, the player's sister, wrote to Entggram: "Your spirit in my spirit shines forever and illuminates my life.

Sala ended his transfer to Cardiff City on the French side of Nantes for a record 15 million pounds, two days before the incident.

He was returning to the Welsh capital after farewells to his teammates.

Ebotsson, the 59-year-old pilot, was flying a small plane from the Malibu Piper when he disappeared from the surveillance screens.

The city of Cardiff issued a statement shortly after the Dorset police confirmed the discovery of the body on Thursday: "Our sincere condolences to the Emiliano family, his memory and that of David will remain forever in our hearts."

"That is how the painful research will end and that Emiliano will remain one of the great players who made Nantes famous," said his former Nantes club in Nantes.

The club has announced the withdrawal of jersey number 9, worn by the deceased in his honor.

Football stars such as Cillian Lampby of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid striker Gareth Bell have expressed their condolences to the Emiliano Sala family.

The obituaries of FIFA, the European Football Federation (UEFA), the Welsh Federation and Argentine President Mauricio Macri also echoed.

Official searches were halted on Jan. 24 after the authorities confirmed that the chances of finding the bodies were "very weak".

But special searches, called by the player's online manager, began collecting £ 324,000, led by marine science expert David Mearns.

The device was identified using sonar technology, which relies on sound propagation at 67 meters deep and sent cameras at this depth to confirm their presence, he said.

The research teams used machines in the recovery process without the intervention of the divers.
