Liverpool takes the lead in the Premier League with a big win over Bournemouth

Liverpool returned to the top of the English Premier League with a 3-0 home win over Bournemouth in the 26th round of the competition.

Manchester City took advantage over Liverpool's goal difference after beating Geofferton 2-0 on Wednesday.

Senegalese Sadio Mani opened the scoring for the Riddles in the 24th minute after a pass from Englishman James Milner.

The Dutch midfielder doubled the lead in Liverpool in the 34th minute, after a separate pass from Scottish player Andy Robertson.

Egyptian star Mohammed Salah was present after scoring the third goal in the third minute of the second period, by Brazilian striker Roberto Fermino.

With this result, Liverpool reached the sixty-sixth point, to take the lead, while the Bournemouth score to 33 points in tenth place.
