Al-Ahly asks the football federation to identify alternative stages: "We will not play except the masses"

The Al-Ahly board of directors sent Sunday a letter to the Football Federation asking to determine the stadiums to host the games of the Egyptian League in the coming period.

The Football Federation has decided to close some stadiums for the preparation of the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Egypt in June.

Al-Ahli said in his speech that alternative stages should be allowed to attend the public, in accordance with the conditions agreed in the past in the presence of security authorities.

He added on the official website: "If the stadiums were otherwise, the Football Association would obtain such approvals, including the security clearance to assist the masses in order to realize the principle of l & # 39; ;equal opportunities."

Al Ahli finished third in the league after winning five straight victories, amassing 39 points in 18 games, narrowing the gap with Pyramids, who had 42 points in 21 games, behind the Zamalek leader with 48 points in 19 met.
