Ramsey joins Juventus for 4 years .. becomes the highest paid British
LONDON (Reuters) – Arsenal midfielder Arun Ramsey has signed a contract with Juventus for a four-year period, the press reported on Monday.
According to Sky Sports, Ramsey will receive £ 400,000 a week to become the highest paid British player.
Sky Sports announced that Wales midfielder Ramsey had signed for Juventus and would join the Serie A champions in free transfer after the expiry of his contract with Arsenal at the end of the season.
Ramsey, who joined Arsenal in 2008, scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final in 2014 and 2017.
Ramsey will become the third Welsh to play for Juventus after Ian Rush, who has played for Italy for one season, and John Charles, who spent five years with Juventus in the 1950s and 1960s.
Several European clubs tried to sign Ramsey, including Bayern Munich, but Juventus finally won the contract.
