Adel scored twice to end Thursday's 2-2 draw against Al Gouna in the 22nd round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Alaa Abdel-Al's team continued to suffer from its failure to win the 11th consecutive game of the local championship.
Interior was closer to winning in the final minutes of the match but missed opportunities to win.
Al-Gouna joined Ahmed Yasser Ryan in the 20th minute and Ahmed tied in the 22nd minute. Akram Tawfiq scored the visitors' second goal in the 45th minute, but veteran striker Hossam Paolo equalized in the 80th minute.
Al-Gouna continued in 13th place (23 points) in the tournament standings and directly behind him (22 points).
The local team will host Al Ahly on Wednesday and the El Gouna Pyramids on Tuesday.
