Many of us may not be talking about cinema in Sudan, but that does not mean that the industry is not there. The economic and political conditions of recent years have not encouraged the film industry.
However, this year's Berlin International Film Festival is witnessing special performances of ancient and modern Sudanese films that confirm that Sudanese and Sudanese have a bright future for producing their own films.

- Movie "Waiting Seat" (2019)
Directed by Suhaib al-Bari, this film focuses on the history of Sudanese cinema, with its current implications on the country's turbulent situation.
