Spaniard Juan Carlos Garrido is about to lead the UAE team in Al Ain to replace Croatian Zoran Mamic.
The Emirates newspaper revealed today that Moroccan coach Raja and former Ahli of Egypt have made contact with the leaders of the Al Ain team.
Zoran Mamic was abruptly ousted from the Al Hilal coaching team in Saudi Arabia, before the start of the second round of the Arab Gulf League.
Ahmed Humaid Al Mazroui, vice president of football at Al Ain, added that Mr Garrido would be about to lead the team after watching the Spanish coach on Twitter, the newspaper reported. .
Garrido had left Raja's Moroccan leadership after canceling the consensual contract after winning the title of the African Confederation and before the Super-African's match against Hope, and Cartier replaced him in the Moroccan team.
Garedo won the African Confederation's 2018 title with Moroccan Raja after defeating the Vita Club in the final.
He signed with Garrido in the summer of 2017 and was supposed to end the contract of the Spanish coach next summer.
Garrido has already coached Al Ahly and the Saudi League, ahead of Real Betis and Villarreal in Spain.
