Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Saturday that his country hoped Syria would return to the League of Arab States.
"We attach importance to the continuation of relations between Syria and the Arab League and its return to the Arab family," Lavrov said in a statement to the TASS news agency. Syria needs more humanitarian aid to create conditions for the return of refugees.
