The Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan signed Sunday a number of agreements between the two countries.
In the presence of the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, seven bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed between the two parties:
– Technical Cooperation Program between the Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality and the Pakistan Organization for Standardization and Quality Control.
– Agreement for financing the supply of crude oil and petroleum products to Pakistan between the Saudi Fund for Development and the Government of Pakistan.
– A memorandum of understanding between the Saudi Fund for Development and the Government of Pakistan for the financing of electricity generation projects in Pakistan.
– Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Kingdom and the Government of Pakistan to Study Investment Opportunities in the Refining and Petrochemicals Sector in Pakistan.
– Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Kingdom and the Government of Pakistan in the area of mineral wealth in Pakistan.
– Memorandum of Understanding between the two governments for the development of renewable energy projects in Pakistan.
– Cooperation agreement in sport.
The Crown Prince arrived earlier in the day in Islamabad, on an official visit to the Republic of Pakistan, during a tour of Asia that also included India and China.
