Ford has officially unveiled its Explorer 2020 at the Detroit auto show this year. For the first time since 2011, the new rear-wheel drive will be introduced, adding a hybrid version and replacing the sport with the ST brand.
MotorAuthority's website said it obtained a list of price categories for new versions of Explorer, indicating that it would start at about 128,000 riyals.
The base price will not be much different from the price of the current 2019 version (about 128,000 riyals), while the car will receive a new 300 hp engine instead of the previous V-6 engine, which produces 290 horsepower.
The Explorer 2020 receives a 10-speed automatic transmission instead of the current six-speed transmission, which means more acceleration and fuel economy.

The price of the Explorer Platinum is 224,000 SR and will be based on a turbo engine that will generate 265 horsepower, while the sport price of the ST will reach 206,000 SR.
The price of the new Explorer is higher than that of the Dodge Durango and the Chevrolet Traverse, but it is close to competitors such as Honda Pilot and Mazda C-X9.
