On Tuesday, the Interior Ministry issued a statement on the execution of the death sentence handed down against a Jordanian living in the Al Jouf region.
Wael Jamal Abdul Qadir Ali (Jordanian) was arrested while smuggling a quantity of forbidden grain. The investigation led him to charge him with what was attributed to him and, by referring him to court, issued a legal instrument establishing the legitimacy of what was attributed to him as well as the law condemning him to death.
The judgment was upheld by the court of appeal and the Supreme Court, and a royal decree was issued to enforce what had been lawfully decided. The offender's execution was executed today. al-Jouf.
