LONDON (Reuters) – Wolverhampton wants to sign Ramadi Sobhi Al Maar for Ahli from Huddersfield Town, the English daily Daily Mail reported.
She wrote that the talent of the 22-year-old boy with the red castle had prompted the wolves to think about using his services.
The paper pointed out that Wolverhampton would try to contract with Ramadan before the price goes up if the Pharaohs take part in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, to be held in the Kenana country and start in June.
The loan of Ramadan with Ahli ends on June 30, 2019. The player's contract with Huddersfield expands until 2021.
Ramadan made the difference with Ahly as soon as he took the red jersey and behaved well in nine matches.
Ramadan scored a solo goal against Egypt.
Ramadan, who competed with Egypt at the 2017 African Cup and at the last World Cup, graduated from Ahli's youth sector and left the team in 2016 to join Stoke City.
Ramadan was suffering from a lack of participation in the Premier League and left Stoke to join Huddersfield for 6.5 million euros last July.
The current market value of Ramadan is estimated at 7 million, according to transfermarkt.com.
