The restaurant is run by Majid Mohammed al-Ansari and his two brothers, after the opening of their father 40 years ago.

For example, Ansari thinks that European customers prefer grilled meats, while Ansari provides Iranian and Arab customers with meat cooked with yoghurt. While waiting to prepare their meals, guests can watch the money from around the world adorning the tables, as well as antiques and old phones provided by the tourists at the restaurant. Ansari said the restaurant was a "small museum".

Among the personalities who visited the restaurant are Al Ansari, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Emirati artists Hussein Al Jasmi and Ahlam, as well as many Iranian and Indian artists.

Speaking of what the restaurant meant to him, Al Ansari said: "The restaurant serves him as a home and everything for him, noting that he is very active when he sits down with all the guests here .
