For his part, the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs for Technical Affairs, Dr. Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Jammaz, said: The meeting, which included 32 governmental and private entities and 17 secretariats, resulted in the formation of executive technical teams responsible for reviewing and updating publications, scheduling periodic meetings with all partners to complete the project, schedule of completion of the entire project , which has been reduced to 11 months, and the rapid completion of the technical regulations and priority requirements within three months.
The project aims to modernize 103 systems, requirements, guides, models, standards and applications for all construction activities, such as schools, hospitals, commercial and government establishments, so that the experience of the beneficiary is a clear step in case he decides to invest in a company.
The project will realize the vision of the 2030 Kingdom by increasing investment opportunities, controlling urban development and defining the requirements of all relevant authorities in a single mold provided by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs for Technical Affairs noted that for the first time investors have the opportunity to present their views and comments on regulations and conditions that directly affect them.
The purpose of the project is to minimize and simplify the requirements of government agencies and services and to determine the mechanism by which these requirements and requirements can be updated by developing a methodology, in addition to the governance of roles and responsibilities, and helping investors to know the feasibility of investing in municipal activities In addition to helping attract investment for important development activities, for example in the sectors of education and health , who will benefit from the provision of these services and maximize the benefits to the beneficiaries of citizens and residents in all cities of the Kingdom.
