"Schubert" is a Siamese cat received by Lagerfeld as a gift from a mannequin.

The cat's story posted a picture of her wearing a black hat. "Thank you all for my condolences, but now my heart is broken and I ordered a period of mourning," he wrote in the photo.
Lagerfeld is president of the fashion house founded by Coco Chanel since 1983.
Lagerfeld was not the only one to have recommended some of his wealth to his pet.
