FIFA punishes Chelsea for contract cuts by 2020

FIFA has banned Chelsea from banning players from both its summer and winter teams.

According to Viva, the club violated the rules of signing with footballers under 18 years old.

FIFA fined Chelsea and the Russian Federation £ 460,000 a fine of £ 390,000.

According to the press, the decision was made after a three-year investigation by FIFA, which had examined documents from more than a dozen players from Chelsea, including former striker Bertrand Traore in 2013 .

The English club has 90 days to appeal the decision of FIFA.

The Blues will not be able to register new players until January 2020.
