Ambassador Jamal Bayoumi, former Deputy Secretary of State, said the title of the Euro-Arab summit held in Egypt in the coming days, titled "Investing in Stability", shone and reflected future aspirations.

"The Arab region is generally attractive and a source of investment," he said at a meeting with DMC television on Friday. "Many Arabs are investing in Europe.

He added that the holding of this conference on the Egyptian territories was a victory for Egyptian diplomacy and Arab performances, stressing that the Arab world could engage in serious cooperation with the European side.

He also expressed his optimism about the convening of this conference, which would contribute to strengthening Euro-Arab relations by a number of margins that should be identified at this conference.

Egypt will host the Euro-Arab Summit on Sunday and Monday at the Sharm el-Sheikh Convention Center.

President Abdelfattah al-Sisi will inaugurate the summit with leaders of the European Union and a number of Arab leaders under the slogan "Investing in stability".
