Saudi Arabia and China signed economic cooperation agreements worth a total of $ 28 billion at an investment forum during the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Beijing, reported Friday the official Saudi news agency.
"Thirty-five agreements were signed at the forum organized by the Saudi General Authority for Investments," SPA said.
"Four licenses were given to Chinese companies during the forum," she said without further details.
According to the same agency, Chinese President Xi Jinping has discussed with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman the latest developments in Saudi strategic relations, the situation in the region and the international scene.
Trade between the two countries increased by 32% last year and the Chinese president assured the Chinese president that the Arabian Peninsula was an essential part of the Silk Road, which is fully in line with the vision of the Kingdom of 2030.
