After the news of the death of the Egyptian actor Mustafa Shami, his wife, Ms. Heba Bader, voiced his silence, responded to the news and confirmed that her husband was still alive.
Badr wrote via his own account on a social networking site:
"My dear teacher and Qatif artist Mustafa Shami is still alive and, thank God, I wish the journalist to be without conscience instead of what is announced by the news of his death.
"I wish to pray wholeheartedly to your husband, the artist Mustafa Shami, that God will heal him for 14 days of intensive care in a deep coma, Lord, heal yourself from you."
Al-Shami was admitted to an Egyptian hospital on February 9, and after a deterioration in his health, he was transferred to the Armed Forces Hospital in Egypt.
