A recently released image revealed Huawei's intention to announce its foldable "Meet X" smartphone at the World Mobile Congress a few days later in Barcelona, Spain.
Huawei has described his upcoming phone as "the fastest smart phone that supports fifth-generation technology," according to the 9-5 To Google website.
This news comes just days after the announcement of Samsung's Galaxy Fold phone.
According to The Virgues, Huawei has designed a phone different from Samsung: the MetX will have a large folding screen which both sides are able to fold simultaneously, unlike Galaxy Full with two completely separate screens.
The World Mobile Congress will be held from 25 February to 28 of the same month.
