A cancerous American from New York cried before his death to warn of the effects of smoking on health.
Jeffrey Turner died February 13 from his 66 years of lung cancer after smoking for decades.
"I was an idiot who did the same foolishness several times," Turner writes. "If you smoke now, your life depends on your decision."
His daughter Sarah told the BBC that she was very proud of what her father had done to alert smokers.
"I was a smoker and, although I knew it could kill me, I chose to ignore it," Turner said.
Lung cancer was diagnosed in Turner last November, and his doctor said the disease was a direct result of smoking over the years.
"The pain that she caused to my family was not as intense as the pleasure I had from smoking," wrote Turner.
"I have lived a civilized life, but there are important events in the life of my love that I will not witness." What we can learn from the story of my life, it is "Do not be stupid, life is beautiful, do not waste it with smoke."

Turner quit after marriage, then returned to him in the mid-90s during a business trip to London and died only after being diagnosed with cancer of the lung.
