Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp has referred to the injury of striker Roberto Fermino at Manchester United on Sunday.
Fermino played half an hour in the Liverpool draw against United before being replaced by an injury.
It's an ankle injury and that's for sure, "he said after the meeting.
"Bobby initially stated that he could continue on the field but that he did not succeed," said the German coach.
The Brazilian international dropped him when he tried to pass the ball to his Egyptian colleague, Mohamed Salah.
"It's Fermino, so the recovery will be faster than the others but we must first know how serious the injury is, but we do not know it yet."
Liverpool striker Roberto Fermino left Old Trafford on crutches because of the injury he suffered at Manchester United on Sunday.
According to Liverpool Echo, Fermino would have left the field with the help of his team on crutches.
The change was the third between 4 changes for both teams in the first half only, all due to injuries.
Liverpool increased its points to 66 points, leading the English Premier League to one point after chasing Manchester City.
United extended the lead to 52 points but fell to fifth after Arsenal defeated Southampton.
