Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said the June 30 revolution played a key role in the understanding of the so-called Arab Spring by Europeans, highlighting the gravity of terrorism. and preventing the exploitation of religion in politics.

He added in a statement broadcast on a number of Egyptian channels covering the activities of the Arab-European summit held on Sunday night in Sharm el-Sheikh that the Arab world had been deeply shaken in 2011 after the revolutions of the Arab Spring, declaring: Arab neighbors such as Turkey and Israel, which has weakened the attention to the Palestinian cause.

He explained that Europe had its methodology, its hostility and its allies and that it had come to understand what had happened in the Arab world in the face of the challenges and risks that affect the whole world . "Europeans have understood the seriousness of religious groups that base religion on politics."

On Sunday evening, the Arab-European summit was held in Sharm el-Sheikh, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and a large number of leaders and leaders of Arab and European countries.
The summit is scheduled over two days to discuss a number of issues related to Arab and European relations and regional and international issues of common interest.
