Chinese Huawei took part in the folding phone contest and unveiled Sunday the Mate X foldable 5G smartphone in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress.
The phone will start at a price of 2299 euros (about $ 2,600), a device able to fold and turn into a slim smartphone 6.6 inches into an 8-inch tablet.
The Huawei Mate X has a slightly curved screen with screens on both sides of the phone when it is closed. Other key features of Mate X include The following:

3. New Leica Camera System The phone will work with the Huawei Kirin 980 processor and the Balong 5000 chipset, which supports 5G technology.
The company said the chipset at very high speed would allow users to download a 1GB movie in just 3 seconds.
