The king surprised Salman bin Abdul Aziz, as did the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The King of Bahrain kissed the King of Saudi Arabia live, with Hamad bin Isa walking to where King Salman was sitting and hugging him.
King Salman tried to put himself in his place to greet the King of Bahrain.
The two men will participate in the Arab-European summit to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh Sunday, February 24.
The summit will last two days, the summit of the European Union – the first Arab League of its kind – which has a strong presence of representatives of European and Arab countries, totaling some fifty delegations from both sides.
The summit will be chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sissi and the European side by European Council President Donald Tusk.
