Earlier this year, Huawei confirmed its intention to launch a retractable smart phone during its participation in the World Congress of Mobile Telephony CMM 2019. A photo of the phone and his name has now been disclosed.
A Twitter user leaked a photo of the phone that looked like a banner hanging in the World Mobile Congress, which begins Monday in Barcelona, Spain.
The phone will be called "Huawei Mate X" and will have a different design than Samsung's first retractable smartphone, announced two days ago.
Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Fold, the revealed image shows that the Huawei MetX phone will provide a screen that unfolds and not inside, and that there is a difference in design in what regards the dimensions.
The leaks regarding Huawei's intention to launch a retractable smart phone began last year and the company confirmed itself with the announcement of the fourth quarter results 2018 and then hinted over the phone on the map of invitation for his event planned for MWC 2019 Sunday.
Next to the name and format of the phone, the panel says "Know …" and below it is the "fastest 5G phone in the world".
