Ahmed Afifi, spokesman for the Pyramids, said his team was preparing for the Ahli match in Egypt Cup, according to the latest schedule announced by the Football Association.

Ahli refuses to face the Pyramids during the 16th round of the Egypt Cup on Thursday, while rejoicing in the league match is the opposite of the position of Pyramids.

"The team and the technical team led by Ramon Diaz are well prepared and know that they will face a great team in a solid match where all possibilities are open, but we are trying to win and we qualify, "Afifi said in a press release.

"The football federation is the organizer of the local championships, we agree with him or against the legal methods, but we respect his decision and the team is ready to play according to the last table.

"The players were very responsible in the match against the subcontractors and deserved to win," said Afifi.

"The match was difficult because the subcontractors are a well-organized and respected team with a long name in Egyptian football, and I also salute the high quality atmosphere that overshadowed the main cabin between the two clubs."

Pyramids won the Arab Contractors 1-0 and was tied with Al Ahly in the league net with 48 points, including 4 points against Zamalek.
