Prince Faisal bin Turki, president of the former club Al-Nasr, announced that he would celebrate the retirement of the yellow striker Mohamed Al-Sahlawi when he stays or leaves the continental club.
"Mohammed Al Sahlawi stayed at Al-Nasr club where he did not stay," said former club president Al-Nasr, using his personal account on the social networking site Twitter. "Let me, fans of the world, take care of his retirement from the myth of the club of victory."
Al Sahlawi, 32, joined Al-Nasr for the 2009 season from Qadisiyah, under the administration of Prince Faisal Bin Turki, who also extended the international striker's contract at the end of the 2014 season.
Al-Sahlawi won 10 consecutive league titles in 2014 and 2015 and the Crown Prince Cup in 2014, scoring more than 100 goals in the Saudi Professional League and was the first player in the league's history to reach this number with only one club.
At the international level, Al Sahlawi and Saudi Arabia won the 2018 World Cup qualifiers and participated in the final final, scoring more than 28 goals.
The former international striker has suffered a major setback this season and is stuck on the bench since the start of the season and has played only a few minutes.
