Abdel-Hafiz, football director of Al-Ahly's technical team, denied the start of renewal talks with Ahmed Hammoudi and Walid Azzaro.
"We have not yet started the renewal negotiations with Hammoudi and Azaro," Abdel Hafiz said in a statement broadcast on the radio at the Schubert stadium.
"We're working on a schedule, and Azaro stays in his contract for two seasons, so it's too early to talk about it."
"The renewal negotiations have taken place with the quartet Ali Maaloul, Junior Ajay, Karim Nedved and Amr Sulaym and are already over."
"Hossam Ashour is about to resume training, maybe he will participate in 90% training on Wednesday," said Abdel Hafez.
