Huawei revealed at the 2019 Global Mobile Hardware Conference what he described as the fastest folding phone in the fifth generation network: HUAWEI Mate X.
"This new model reflects the innovative spirit of the HUAWEI Mate series, including the Hawk Wing and the multi-mode 7 nanometer to 7-nanometer multiplex chip, and the new feature of the new phone folds into a whopping 6.6" transforms itself in a thin 8-inch tablet. "
According to the release, this multidimensional design is a pledge of productivity and entertainment experience on mobile devices. The user can switch very easily between the two modes – smartphone and tablet.
"Through our R & D efforts, we can access this innovative HUAWEI Mate X design," said Richard Yu, general manager of Huawei's Consumer Business Group. "The device combines the ability to connect to the fifth-generation network and a folding screen – completely new offering consumers an unprecedented experience."
As with Huawei's smart phone cameras, the new phone is equipped with the latest Leica cameras that support the most advanced imaging features. The collapsible design allows the camera system to operate forward or backward, and the camera displays a double-sided display.
HUAWEI Mate X works with a fingerprint, allowing users to turn on the device with one touch. Users will not need to upgrade devices to continue to benefit from communication on fifth-generation networks as the dual SIM card of the new device supports fifth- and fourth-generation networks.
The HUAWEI Mate X comes with a huge battery of 4,500 mA and the phone is powered by a charging system 55W HUAWEI SuperCharge that charges up to 85% of the battery capacity in less than 30 minutes, for a considerable time savings for users.
