He stressed that the region was facing major challenges, including the Palestinian question and the future of Jerusalem, to which his country attaches great importance, in his capacity as Chairman of the Jerusalem Committee of the Organization of Islamic cooperation, stressing the need to maintain the legal status of the Holy City in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1967.
