Brigadier Mohamed Morjane, executive director of the Al Ahly club, commented on the decision of the Egyptian Football Federation's Competitions Committee to postpone the matches of the Egypt Cup.
Morjan said privately that Ahli had complied with the rules and regulations before making the decision not to play the Pyramids.
He added that Al-Ahli was not fighting anyone, but with the board of directors still looking for the rights of the club and all the teams.
He stated that the club had studied well before deciding to refuse to play Pyramids, in accordance with the schedule set by the competition committee.
Morjane said the club did not raise any issues and was still seeking his rights in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the tournaments.
