Barcelona puts an end to uncertainty about the future of Alba

The Spanish club Barcelona has announced the extension of the contract of the Spanish left-back Jordi Alba for the next five years, until 2024.
The new Alba contract includes a € 500 million criminal clause, according to the club's official statement.
Alba has played 282 games for Barcelona and scored 14 goals thanks to his contribution to the coronation with 14 titles since his first participation seven seasons ago.

During the current season, the midfielder played 36 games for Barca, scoring two goals, 14 more goals and a strong influence on his teammates' performance, especially thanks to an excellent deal with Lionel Messi.
