The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) warned Friday about the measles epidemic, noting that 10 countries, including France, Brazil and Ukraine, account for about three quarters of the overall increase in the number of measles cases in 2018.

UNICEF said in a statement that 98 countries on the planet had recorded an increase in the incidence of measles in 2018 compared to 2017, which hampers efforts to prevent and control the disease, a threat to life and control, as noted by the United Nations Fund for Children.

It is advisable for a child with measles to rest until his temperature drops and that he heals in a quiet dimly lit room so as not to hurt his tired eyes by inflammation .

The high heat is treated with packets of water and paracetamol.

There is no specific treatment for measles. Antibiotics are not effective. It is a viral disease. The child needs antibiotics to treat bacterial complications such as ear infection or pneumonia.

The measles vaccine is considered essential in all countries of the world and is administered to the child at the end of its first year of life.

Preventive treatment of measles: 1 – the patient's bed should be used for the duration of the disease and can advise the doctor to administer aspirin, nose drops and cough medicines . 2 – Foods are limited to liquids and reduce the degree of exposure and renew the air patch from time to time. 3 – The use of linen (Kalamina), present in pharmacies to reduce itching, as well as the solution of starch and water and, if the itching intensifies, it can be eliminated with the help of antihistamine compounds (sensitive)
