Microsoft has revealed preliminary information about X Cloud, which allows users to play high-definition video games on their phones.
The video game delivery service is based on game sharing specifically designed for the Xbox One platform hosted by Microsoft's cloud servers worldwide. X Cloud users will be able to play group games on their phones, tablets and TVs around the world.
The new Xbox manager, Phil Spencer, said the new service would increase users' time playing games, but would not replace traditional platforms.
"Millions of people still love playing games on the Xbox One platform, but the new service allows them to do it if they're not at home.
"We do not prioritize the sale of hardware, but rather the sales of games and related services," he said.
