Health problems in the Mecca region have revealed the presence of cases in a number of public schools for girls in Mecca, but their number is considered normal depending on the incidence of the disease at this time each year and compared to the cases observed last year.

Health spokesman for the Hamad al-Otaibi region said reports of suspected scabies have been reported in several schools, according to the Okaz newspaper that some cases have been confirmed as lawsuits and that others had normal skin sensitivity.

According to the percentage of cases reported by the Hessn system in all public and private health facilities, the incidence of these cases did not increase significantly, knowing that the epidemiological situation of the disease was safe and controlled.

He pointed out that the mechanism followed for confirmed cases is to send a team from the competent health center in the region to administer appropriate preventive treatment and awareness and education to everyone about the disease.
