Akhbar Al-Ahli unveils details of "Academies of Africa and the Arab World"

The board of directors of the club, led by Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, chaired by Council member Mohammed Al-Jarhi, met Saturday at the club's headquarters in Al-Jazeera to discuss all the issues. points discussed in the new academies that Ahli wishes to establish in the Arab world and in Africa. During the meeting, the committee considered Ghana's offer to establish an academy bearing the club name Al Ahli, where the offer was studied in all its aspects. The committee, which includes Dr. Saad Shalaby, Marketing Board Advisor, Khalid Bebo, Academic Director, Amir Tawfiq, Director of Contracts and Player Marketing, Captain Abdel Moneim Shatta from the former Ahly Star and Mohamed Fathi, the club's legal affairs representative, outlined the work program of African universities. The first phase will include the creation of academies in Tunisia, Kenya, Sudan, Angola and Ghana. The second phase includes the establishment of academies in Senegal, Libya, Ethiopia, Uganda and Zambia.

In order to reach the final study of the Academies' file abroad, the Committee intensified its meetings during the last period, a study which should be presented to the Board of Directors in order to ratify it and start taking the necessary measures to achieve the objectives of this file.

For his part, Mohammed Al-Jarhi said that Al-Ahli was seeking to achieve clear goals from overseas academies, stressing that achieving technical goals first took advantage of the talents of the academy. Africa to support the football team in the future, especially in light of the great changes that have occurred. Al Ahli, especially in the African player transfer market, seeks to achieve an investment objective, through Gulf academies or marketing players.

Al-Jarhi pointed out that the committee had defined criteria for choosing the countries in which academies would be created, including age groups of 10 to 15 and 15 to 21 years, as well as specific points guaranteeing the success of the idea and the achievement of the desired objectives. For the club.

Al-Jarhi pointed out that the committee had studied the experiences of European clubs in Africa, especially those that had already been successful in the academies, and had also benefited from the talents of the African continent, as well as the method of partnership in countries where academies are created.
