Hamdi stressed that the Arab Federation of Petroleum, Mining and Chemical Workers has been working tirelessly to improve the living conditions of workers and to ensure a decent life for them.
For its part, the secretary general of the International Confederation of Arab Trade Unions, Ghassan Al-Ghosn, said the Arab world is currently facing crises that afflict more than one Arab pole, stressing that the Arab system is facing many challenges that force Arab workers to play a vital role. He pointed out that the Takfiri groups, which are currently striking some Arab countries, are mainly aimed at weakening these countries by striking its economy, through despicable terrorist operations, aimed at tourist facilities.
The Secretary General of the International Confederation of Arab Trade Unions pointed out that the economic unity between the Arab countries would only be achieved by creating a safe working environment for the workers, stressing that the Union defend the rights of Arab workers and their interests and facilitate the movement of Arab labor among Arab countries.
Al-Ghosn stressed the rejection by the International Federation of any attempts at normalization with the Israeli entity, in support of the Palestinian cause, and its condemnation of US plans to deprive Palestinians of their rights while at the same time was described as "transaction of the century".
