Medical reports indicate that lack of physical activity and lack of movement are the most important causes of high blood sugar, but what kind of activity and exercise to prevent diabetes? This has been revealed by the results of a recent study conducted at the University of Iowa:
Moderate strength exercises reduce the risk of diabetes by 32% if exercise is regular.
The study, published in the Mayo Clinic, is based on a measurement of muscle density in 4681 people and on tests to determine the relationship between muscle density and diabetes risk.
It does not require exercises to strengthen muscles of medium intensity lifting weights, there are several types of aerobic exercises that help to develop muscles to a medium degree, and can be used with weight machines at the gym.
