TOKYO – Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation has announced a development project of a manned spacecraft in partnership with the Japanese Space Agency for a mission scheduled for 2029.
The agreement between the two parties is currently limited to "examining the possibility of cooperation in space exploration by speeding up joint research on an inhabited vehicle with a compressed cockpit powered by a fuel cell, "the company said.
