The CAF stadium monitoring committee paid a visit to the ten Egyptian stadiums to host the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt next June.
The committee made several rounds in the championship stadiums of different governorates, before presenting an overview of stadiums and training, before presenting a report on the equipment used in different stadiums and the proper functioning of the stadium.
Mohammed Fadl, tournament director, Ahmed Mujahid, coordinator of the organizing committee of the Nations Cup, accompanied by the committee during his visits to the stadiums, along with Majdi Abdul Ghani, supervisor of the stadium committee, and Ahmed Abdullah, director of the committee.
The Inspection Committee of the African Union (AU) (AUC) also organized a tour with the local organizing committee leaders of the Continental Championship.
The draw for the Nations Cup is expected to take place on April 12 in the Pyramids and Giza region, in the presence of many of the world's leading sports figures.
The committee responsible for following Egypt's preparations for the Nations Cup will follow all the arrangements made for the draw ceremony, will see all the material and will ensure that the work is done appropriately. The ceremony will be a spectacular demonstration of the Egyptian historical civilization, cornerstone of the construction of the continent. To send a message to the world that the civilization and history of Egypt are ready to receive the whole world
