Border guards in the Najran region foiled an attempt to smuggle 420 kilograms of hashish into a vehicle carrying two people trying to cross the Saudi border.
Border Guard spokesman Lt. Col. Misfer bin Ghannam al-Qarni said the border guards had spotted a vehicle whose commander was trying to cross the Saudi border under Sharurah's responsibility.
Lieutenant-Colonel Al-Qarni added that after searching the vehicle, 420 kilograms of narcotics were found inside, that the driver and the person accompanying him had been arrested and that all the legal proceedings against them.
