An official source in the Zamalek club revealed that Hilmi had retired as the club's general supervisor of the youth sector.
The source told FilGol.com that "Zamalek officials did not contact Mohamed Helmi to take up his duties."
"Zamalek learned that Mohamed Helmy did not want to hold this position at the moment."
In the same hand, a source close to Mohamed Hilmi revealed the reasons for his decline, pointing out "due to earlier differences".
The Zamalek officials are looking for another name instead of Mohamed Helmy as general supervisor of the club.
Mohamed Hilmi made his debut in Zamalek during the 2016-17 season, when he came back and took charge of the team's management for the second time.
Helmy stepped down in March 2017, before taking over the army and leaving last year.
